How to Submit Abstract for the Meeting
We kindly request you to submit abstract through the link provided below.

・Please note that the registration fee is not refundable once the payment is processed.
・Information on how to pay the registration fee will be provided after your abstract has been accepted.
・If you wish to attend without a presentation, please complete the registration form that will be announced in late August.
Travel Support
What is the IWTRC Travel Support?
The IWTRC Travel Support Program provides financial assistance for transportation and accommodation costs to students and early-career researchers (ECRs) who are interested in studying at a TRC member’s university and wish to attend the International Workshop of the Typhoon Science and Technology Research Center (IWTRC).
To apply, applicants must:
- Complete the application form and agree to all terms and conditions.
- Be able to cover any expenses not included in the travel support, such as visa application fees or personal costs.
- Be registered as a TRC International Member.

Important Notes for Applicants
- Application deadline: August 20, 2025 (Japan Standard Time)
- TRC will arrange your flight and accommodation. Please do NOT book them by yourself.
- Please note that you are responsible for your own passport and visa arrangements.
- Priority will be given to applicants who will give a presentation at IWTRC.
- Applications from students who wish to attend without presenting are also accepted, but the likelihood of receiving support may be lower.
- Due to budget limitations, not all applicants will be selected.
- Notification of results: End of August 2025

Who are TRC International Members?
TRC International Members are non-Japanese students, researchers, or technicians who meet the following criteria:
- Have an interest in typhoon and/or tropical cyclone research
- Can communicate effectively in English or Japanese
- Support the activities of the Typhoon Science and Technology Research Center (TRC)
- Are willing to actively participate in TRC workshops such as IWTRC
- Are encouraged to share their research outcomes in their own countries or regions
